Favors are not a traditional part of the Mother Blessing or blessingways and are therefore not necessary. However, if you wish to give your guests a thank you for coming, a fragrantly scented bar of handmade soap or a candle to light can make a nice reminder of the wishes we’re supposed to keep making for the birth after the Mother Blessing is over.
